About Me
I am a Glasgow-based performance artist working with live performance; film; persona; comedy; and music. I often work with themes such as feminism, class, mental health, and ecology (among others). I also work as a performance facilitator in a range of contexts across various age groups.
Some of my works include Land Claim - a collaborative short film shown as part of Rolling Peaks in collaboration with Embassy Gallery and Paper Mountains at the FringeWorld Festival in Perth, Australia, 2019; and Working Classes - a live, site-specific performance at Strathclyde Park, made in collaboration with Holly Worton and funded by the Arts & Humanities Council as part of an exchange project with North Lanarkshire Council and Edinburgh University.

My arts practice is about reclamation; compassion; and emotion. I am inspired by music. I am motivated by the need for change. I am driven by the fires that need to be extinguished.

"We're taught to be ashamed of confusion, anger, fear and sadness, and to me, they're of equal value to happiness, excitement and inspiration" - Alanis Morissette
Artist Statement
I think my brain might be on fire.
I think my heart might be on fire.
I think I need an ocean to put it all out.

I think the world is on fire.
I think society is on fire.
I think we need an ocean to put it all out.

I think the earth is on fire.

I think we need… oh fuck .

I think the ocean is on fire.

Upcoming Work...
Untitled Sea Project (2024)
Cry Baby (2024)
Bee On Time (2024/25)
WILD THINGS (2024/25)
Untitled Coastal Project is a collaborative contemporary film which will be created and performed in a coastal environment to raise awareness about green recovery following the global impacts of COVID-19. This project will explore the concepts of rewilding coastal and marine environments following the impacts of COVID-19, looking at the harmful activities which threaten these habitats as well as solutions to restore, rewild, and recover coastal and marine environments. This project is funded by the RCS Innovation Studio and is being made in partnership with the Marine Conservation Society.
A live collaborative comedy performance about feeling emotion in excess and wailing through the sadness.
Following on from community-involved project, Working C(lasses). Bee On Time explores the rigid structures of the prison system and the difficulties that working class women recently released from prison face.
Following the pilot version of WILD THINGS (2022), we are working on the final, full edition of WILD THINGS which follows three women on their journey from woman to wolf and the gruesome aftermath that follows.
